Sephardic Passion - Noam Sheriff
Writen to commamorate 500 years to expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492, Noam Sheriff's Sephardic Passion was first performed in Toledo, Spain, by the Israeli Philharmonic, with conductor Zubin Mehta, and lead soloists Placido Domingo and EKO in 1992. EKO has since perfomed it with verious orchestras, most recent performance with De Bochumer Symphniker, Bochum, Germany 2011.
